Bonita Springs, Fla. (February 6, 2014) - The Bonita Springs Estero Economic Development Council recently launched a complete website content overhaul an effort to increase awareness of the services offered by the organization, as well as to increase knowledge about the benefits of doing business in Bonita Springs and Estero, Florida. The website is located at www.BonitaEDC.com.

The Bonita Springs Estero EDC’s homepage conveys, through visual imagery and search optimized text, the message that we are center of the renaissance in Southwest Florida. The compelling phrase, “Why Hertz selected our region as their new home,” are followed by a list of our attractors including: no state taxes, first class office space, international airport, streamlined permitting, and quality of life. In addition, the homepage features latest news feature for sharing area success stories, an investor of the month box, and scrolling images of the superstars of our industry mix such as Lee Memorial Healthcare System’s facilities, Coconut Point Mall, Algenol Biofuels, Florida Gulf Coast University’s solar field, and Miromar Design Center among other photos.

Christine Ross, Executive Director of the Bonita Springs Estero Economic Development Council notes, “We will continue to leverage the good news of Hertz joining our community, to help retain existing companies and attract new businesses in order to create a thriving year-round economy in Southwest Florida.”

Vince Modarelli, Chairman of the Board of the Bonita Springs Estero Economic Development Council explains, “We know that most out-of-area businesses that are looking to relocate will conduct the majority of their research online before even considering a new community. They are looking for area demographics, key industries, regional information, economic indicators, workforce statistics, major employers and more, which is why we added all of these elements to the website.”

Recently, the Bonita Springs Estero EDC worked with their first corporate relocation project, Marbles, LLC, that moved into Riverview Corporate Complex in Bonita Springs from Cincinnati, Ohio. Managing Partner, William Scott said, “At the end of the day, the EDC helped find a great location for our business and has made us feel welcome in the community.”

Ross elaborates on community development, “It takes an entire community to make a difference in economic development and I would like to thank our many investors and partners who have contributed to our efforts. We are here to help any individual person or any corporation who wants to open a business or grow their footprint in the Bonita Springs and Estero area – so please spread the word.”

The Bonita Springs Estero Economic Development Council is a growing public-private partnership with partners from across Lee and Collier Counties, including the areas of Bonita Springs and Estero. More information can be found at (239) 333-2332 or visit www.BonitaEDC.com.
