Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce Hosts Sign Ordinance Forum on September 4th

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (August 25, 2014) – Is your Bonita Springs company seeking additional information on signage ordinance changes within the City? The Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Sign Ordinance Forum on September 4th at 4:00 p.m. at their Visitor’s Center located at 25071 Chamber of Commerce Drive, Bonita Springs, FL 34135.

The Sign Ordinance Forum will be held to discuss the City’s current work on modifying and updating the sign code from an outdated suburban traditional model code to a sign code that utilizes place-making signs. The goal is to increase attention to the design of buildings and public spaces; and to target the commercial corridors to make the roadway corridors as after and more aesthetically pleasing. Guest speakers from Bonita Springs Community Development include Jay Sweet, Community Development Surveyor and Jacqueline Genson, Planning and Zoning Manager.
