As an organization, all our activities are driven by our commitment to build a prosperous, sustainable, and economically diverse region. We exist to help local companies succeed and grow, to help relocating companies get their business up-and-running as quickly as possible, and to assist our regional economic development organizations to attract new businesses to Southwest Florida.

In the past three years the BSEEDC has served as a complementary business concierge to over 100 clients, and assisted with the addition of over 175 new jobs to the local economy. The BSEEDC executes a program of work based on industry best practices from streamlined permitting and joint permit review to collaborative public-private economic development systems which have garnered statewide recognition.
