Tamiami E.co wishes to extend our thanks to everyone that contributed to make VenturePitch SWFL 1Q16 on Thursday, January 21st a successful event.  Our congratulations are extended to each of the companies that presented - each was excellent and the judges had a very challenging time selecting a winner. Jason Dolle of Testimonial Tree managed to win both the Judges "Most Investible" Award and the Audience "Best Pitch" Award.  

  • Testimonial Tree, helping businesses collect, curate and syndicate customer testimonials; and
  • Nervanix, applying breakthrough advances in the field of neuroscience to improve learning models and cognitive skills development;
  • Koala Home Care, allowing all members of the patient centered care team to proactively communicate throughout the delivery of care, while maintaining the continuation of compliance, strategic planning and quality assurance;
  • Relax and Order, web-based app connecting local vendors with customers who desire a resort style experience in the comfort of their home.

We also wish to thank our judge and keynote speaker, Felix Lluberes. Founder of Position Logic, an INC 500 and Top 100 software company, and currently the executive vice president of KORE Telemetrics, for sharing his journey as an entrepreneur in SWFL.


Our excellent panel of judges also included entrepreneur, investor and Tamiami Angel Fund II member Bud Stoddard; international media partner, investor and Tamiami Angel Fund II member Liza Wong; and founder and managing partner of Gulfshore Capital, Richard Molloy.

Our April 7, 2016 Founder Will Be Brandon Phillips, Global HR Research Inc.

Join us as we host an in-depth look “Inside a Startup" with founder Brandon Phillips.  Brandon will share his journey to growing up and starting a company locally here in SWFL.  From origins with a single mom, to founding Global HR Research in Bonita Springs, FL  (www.GHRR.com), he is now a serial entrepreneur and mentor. 

Brandon G. Phillips is the President of Global HR Research (GHRR). He developed the concept behind GHRR after he recognized a need for enhanced technology and service models for forward thinking HR professions within the human capital space. He is responsible for developing and implementing corporate growth strategies, managing the overall operations and resources of the company, overseeing sales and marketing strategy, and acts as the main point of communication between the chairman, investors, and the corporate operations.  Mr. Phillips has guided the growth of numerous projects from planning and development to sustainability. 

Mr. Phillips, a graduate of The University of Michigan is a frequent guest speaker, has a proven track record of successfully maximizing cutting-edge business concepts in start-up ventures and possesses a strong understanding of consumer and investor needs. He has grown GHRR to host a client base that includes Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, governmental agencies, and health care providers among others.
